From Warehouse to Art Hive
A Creative Exploration of Spring Street Studios
On the hunt for inspiration, explore the hallways of what once was the old Harris Moving & Storage Building and has since transformed into a lively hive of working artists.
Just as the environments we inhabit are always transforming, so is our writing and our creative practice—which means they are worth reexamining frequently. In this three-hour session, the FuenteCo team will lead you through a variety of experimental exercises that will have you thinking and writing about space and movement, sounds and textures, how we relate to art and change.
Spring Street Studios is a fully accessible venue. We'll be walking around the building a bit, so bring a notebook and writing instrument that are easy to carry with you, though we'll have pens and paper available for you as well. All writers are welcome, as well as visual artists and other creative spirits who want to explore their creativity more through the written word—feel free to bring a sketchbook, camera, or any other creative tools that inspire you.
Sharing your work is always optional. Facilitation will be in English, but you should feel free to write in any language.
